Paternity

In Idaho, the basis for paternity is defined as “ the legal status of fatherhood.”

There are three ways in Idaho to establish paternity. First, the parents were married at the time of conception. Second, the father voluntarily acknowledges paternity and completes a form. Third, either party seeks a court order to legally establish paternity.
